Just to let you know a bit about me and what I do. My partner and I run a china, crystal and flatware replacements company on ebay. We are currently offering over 3000 items. But forget all that for now, what I have decided to do is pick a pattern from our large collection and highlight it here! Today I chose Coalport Ming Rose, so I just went in to our warehouse picked the first set that I laid my eyes on took a picture of a "few" of the pieces and started researching. What I plan on doing is finding out all I can on the "chosen" pattern of the week and put it all together here for you. If you are interested in any Ming Rose pieces just copy and paste the link below

Coalport has produced this pattern with several variations over the years. Ming Rose was introduced by Coalport in 1970 and ended production in 1993. They produced a scalloped and a smooth version.
History of Coalport the Company
