Hello folks! Does anyone have a favorite resource (online, print, other) for identifying types of fabric as well as designs on fabric? I am a little new to this field and trying to educate myself. I guess I should say that I'm referring to vintage material like table runners, dresser scafs, etc. Thanks!

Have not put a lot of study into this, but there is a book by Bobbie Aug and Gerald Roy called Antique Quilts and Textiles that is well set up. This was published by Collector Books who is not out of business, but still might have it in stock.

I meant that Collector Books IS out of business, but they are still selling some of there remaining stock online.
