Hello iAntique folks,

 

This is Dan, one of the iAntique.com founders. I wanted to pass along some very exciting news: I've accepted a job to open a new Brass Armadillo Antique Mall in Goodyear, Arizona.

The mall will be over 46,000 square feet and have room for more than 700 dealers. It should open in early March. 

Online social networking and social media will be an important focus of this new antique mall.

Nothing will change here. Myself, Daye, and a bunch of other regular iAntique members are generally around, having good chats and talking about collecting. It's exciting to see the sharing of information between everyone.

I want to assure you that the momentum behind iAntique.com continues to be strong and we're growing quickly (now over 5,400 members).

It's also important to point out that iAntique.com is open to anyone; dealers, collectors, appraisers, antique stores, antique malls.  We have a strong presence in the Brass Armadillo Antique Mall chain, however we're very interested in working with other malls / stores.  We provide marketing materials to help get dealers and customers excited about antiques and collectibles.

We continue to try various approaches to bringing together collectors and welcome ideas to improve iAntique.com. If you have thoughts, suggestions or comments, we would love to hear them. Write me directly at:

I think it is pretty exciting and yeah Dan! Got your back! Actually, I'm pretty excited with some of the changes that have come naturally to iAntique - with more people getting involved and sharing not only their knowledge but their love of this business. 2012 is going to be an exciting year all the way around and I'm thrilled with all the new members and how their knowledge and experience is adding to the quality and the give and take that seems to becoming rampant on iAntique...Woo Hoo!

Dan, you've done a superlative job getting the best social networking site for the antiques trade off the ground & running. It's been a remarkable 2 years, and I don't think any of us around back then imagined that we would have come this far, this fast. Congratulations, and best of luck with the new mall in Arizona! You'll bring the same qualities that made you so successful here to the new venture. Carol & I will drop in some time. Who knows, you might have some bargains there that rival the bargains in Denver. I live in Arizona and would like to know the address in Goodyear and the date of opening! I am excited to have another mall to explore!

Way to go!!!! I'm so very excited for you Dan!!! Goodyear is getting a great mall and the mall is getting a great manager!!!! SEVEN HUNDRED dealers!!!???!!! Amazing.

Well, now a couple weeks into it and I am having a blast. We're still 5 weeks from opening, but will start to sign up dealers soon; hopefully after the first of the month.

I saw a photo of the floor so far, looking good!
