Rainaud Lamp Value

  • August 15, 2015 1:28 PM PDT

Hi Tara, Gorgeous lamp from the 1920's made in Meriden, CT by Rainaud. I can't tell from the photos whether the base is cold painted or not. Also, is the glass perfect all the way around? Gary

Tara, It's notoriously difficult to sell lamps with broken glass, especially if they have to be shipped. If you live in a large metropolitan area and you decide to sell, I suggest you advertise on craigslist in an effort to get a local buyer. I think that if your lamp were perfect it would be worth $400-500. Not knowing exactly how much damage yours has, I really couldn't say how much yours should sell for. If the cracks are not in danger of breaking off entirely, I would think you might be able to get something close to $200 from a retail buyer.
