Catholic "Priest's New Ritual" book & double-sided stole with zippered black leather case. Compartments inside case are labeled in gold. Satin stole is purple on one side for confession, white on the other for absolution. Machine embroidered crosses. Has been folded inside case for many years, but is in perfect condition. Book compiled by Reverend Paul Griffith, copyrighted in 1927; this edition published 1940 by John Murphy Co. of Baltimore, Maryland. Softbound, 340 pages, gilt edges. Has both English & Latin versions. Leather case measures 4" x 5.5" x 1"; shows signs of wear, especially around edges, but has kept the contents in pristine condition. Sold as is, and as a set.
