This is a very striking piece. It is a long handled Brass Bed Warmer bearing an Oriental design. Pictured here in an antique Chinese Marriage bed, one can easily see that the 10.5 inch diameter warmer, filled with hot liquids or warm solids, would make the bedclothes toasty warm despite the chill outside.
